When two official pages disagree, do not average them

A conflict is a finding. Smoothing it into one cell is how a comparison table becomes marketing.

Firms update a help article and leave the old one up. They also write a FAQ that is looser than the terms. The useful act is to show both sentences, name both URLs, and say which decision you refused to make.

What PropChallenger does

  1. Store each passage on its own source card.
  2. Mark the product as an unresolved conflict, which the matcher will not treat as a clean pass.
  3. Leave the stricter and the looser number visible in the guide, not blended.
  4. Date the capture. A conflict can close. The date tells you to look again.

The demonstration book has a fictional version of this on purpose, at Sable and at Meridian, so the interface can be tested without accusing a live firm. The Topstep consistency pair and the Funding Pips news pair are the live versions of the same method.
