Working note7 minFees, resets and rewards

A pass does not start a payroll

Eligibility to request a reward is not a date the money arrives, and the split is not a share of the nominal balance.

After a target is hit, the usual next text is a reward share, a minimum request, a cycle, and a sentence that the firm may review the request. People turn the share into a salary by multiplying it by the nominal balance. An 80% share of a defined profit is not 80% of 100,000.

On the FTMO objectives page we captured, the reward share is not stated. Publishing 80 or 90 from memory would make this desk look more useful and less honest. The record says the share was not on that page. If you need the number, it has to come from the reward section of the firm’s own agreement, dated the day you read it.

Questions that survive a pass

  • What balance is the share applied to, and are commissions already out?
  • How soon may you ask, and how soon do they say they pay?
  • Does the loss limit reset, lock, or trail differently after a payment?
  • Does the consistency rule continue, as FTMO’s Instant page says theirs does?
