Resets, and what a second attempt costs
A reset fee is the price of another try only when a reset fee is published.
Most people do not pass on the first attempt. Planning as if you will is how a USD 279 evaluation becomes a surprise. The honest plan uses the reset line, and uses it only when it exists.
The arithmetic, when the line exists
Northline’s Two-Step 100k is USD 499, then USD 249 for a reset of the same version. Two attempts are 748 if you buy once and reset once. They are not 998, unless you buy a fresh evaluation because the reset was unavailable. Three attempts are 499 + 249 + 249. The calculator does this when you set the attempt count. It does not assume you will need them, and it does not hide them inside the headline price.
One attempt
USD 499
Northline 100k initial fee only.
Then one reset
USD 748
499 + 249. Not a prediction you will fail.
Then another
USD 997
A third start. Still no trading result.
Sable 100k, second try

No reset price was published. Do not copy 349.
When the line does not exist
A second attempt costs the reset fee only when a reset fee is published. Otherwise the repeat cost is unknown. It is not automatically another copy of the initial fee, and it is not free. Sable’s Three-Step 100k demonstration terms publish an evaluation fee and an activation fee and do not publish a reset. The cost of failing the 30-day clock is therefore not something this desk will invent.
A reset is not a refund, and not a new version
Resetting continues the same version’s rules. If the firm has since tightened the 200k consistency cap, a reset of an old version may or may not keep the old cap. The record stores the version label and the effective date. If you reset six months later, re-read the schedule. The price we checked on 12 October 2026 is not a promise about next spring.
