Working note6 minFees, resets and rewards
Activation fees and resets are not the evaluation price
A pass can create a second invoice. A fail can create a third. Neither belongs inside the headline fee.
Firms split the money you pay into an evaluation fee, a reset, an activation to open a reward-stage account, a data fee, and a subscription. Adding them into one ‘cost to get funded’ number hides which ones are optional and which ones are mandatory. PropChallenger keeps the lines separate even when every line is known.
What to look for on the price card
A fee is not identified until the card says
- The amount and the currency, on the same line.
- Whether it is once, monthly, or per reset.
- Whether a pass refunds it, and what event has to happen first.
- Whether the reset is the same price as the original, or a different SKU.
None of the watched records in this review print those lines, because the pages we captured were rule pages. The demonstration book does print them, so you can see the calculator work. Do not copy a demonstration reset onto FTMO.
