Working note6 minRules that end accounts

Hedging, martingale and grid are named strategies, not personalities

A firm can ban a method without banning discretion. You need the definition they use.

Martingale means adding size after a loss. A grid means stacking orders at intervals. Hedging can mean a long and a short in the same instrument, or opposite positions on two accounts at the same firm. Each can be banned while the others are allowed. ‘Don’t gamble’ is not a term you can comply with.

If the page does not define the method, this desk does not infer a ban from the firm’s tone, and it does not infer permission from the absence of the word. The field stays not found. Traders who run these methods should search the firm’s terms for the actual noun before they pay, because the penalty is usually the account, not a warning.
