The checkout checklist
Ten lines to confirm on the firm’s site the day you pay. None of them are optional because a guide mentioned them last month.
A comparison record is a dated reading of a page. Your card statement is a new event. Run this list on the firm’s site, not on a recap.
On the day
- The programme name matches the record, including the step count and the size.
- The daily loss, the maximum loss, and whether the floor is static, end-of-day trailing, or intraday.
- Whether a best-day rule applies, and the denominator.
- Minimum days, if any, and what counts as a day.
- News, weekend, and overnight, in the evaluation and after a pass. They are often different.
- Expert advisors, copiers, and hedging, including hedging across your own accounts.
- The price, the currency, the reset, the activation, and any subscription.
- Whether your country is on the allowed or the prohibited list.
- The legal name on the checkout, and whether it matches the brand.
- The refund trigger, if one is printed. A banner that says refundable is not the trigger.
