Automation permissions

Manual trading, your own tools, and third-party bots are separate questions.

“EAs allowed” is not one fact. A firm may allow an expert advisor you wrote and prohibit a third-party bot, a trade copier, or a signal service that places the same order on many accounts. Those are different risks to the firm, and they are different clauses.

Split the question before you look at the card

  • Question
Can you click the orders yourself?
    Typical reason it is separate
    Almost always yes. Still check.
    If the card is silent
Unknown, which would be unusual and worth a correction.
  • Question
Can your own tool send orders?
    Typical reason it is separate
The firm can watch one person’s logic.
    If the card is silent
    Unknown. Not a yes.
  • Question
Can a third party or a copier send them?
    Typical reason it is separate
Many accounts, one signal, harder to supervise.
    If the card is silent
Unknown. A hard unknown if you depend on it.
Answer each row from the record. Do not let one ‘yes’ cover the other two.

Northline’s demonstration schedule permits the trader’s own expert advisor and prohibits third-party bots and trade copiers. A purchased robot is not ‘your own’ because you paid for it. Keel’s crypto 100k takes the same split. Harborpath often does not mention third-party tools at all. If you depend on one, only an explicit permission matches. The finder files the silent product under unknowns and will not rank it as a fit.

Permission is not a waiver of the other rules

You remain responsible for what the tool does. An allowed advisor can still breach a daily loss limit, a consistency cap, or a news window faster than you can switch it off. ‘The bot did it’ is not a defence you will find in these terms. If the tool martingales, check the other-restrictions line: Atlas describes martingale as prohibited, which ends the strategy even when own automation is allowed.
