Same brand, three sizes, three contracts

The Northline ladder shows why a nominal balance is not a slider on one product.

Shoppers treat 50k, 100k and 200k as the same exam with a different scoreboard. The demonstration schedules do not. The holding rules and the United States prohibition are shared. The fee, the loss percentages, the minimum days and the consistency cap are not.

The expensive difference is the cap, not the fee

The 200k costs more, which everyone sees. It also fails a trader who makes the target in one or two large days, which the 100k schedule does not say. A person who passed a 100k in the demonstration rules has not demonstrated they can pass the 200k. The targets match. The path does not.

The cheap difference is still a percentage

A 5% daily loss on 50,000 is 2,500. On 100,000 it is 5,000. Traders call the first one ‘smaller risk’. The account ends at the same percentage. If your position size is a fixed lot rather than a fixed fraction of the nominal balance, the 50k is the harsher exam, because the same lot is a larger share of the floor. The record does not know your lot. You do. Do the division before you buy the smaller one for comfort.

A ratio to ignore

279 / 50, 499 / 100 and 1,049 / 200 are not a ranking of value. They mix a fee with a nominal balance that is not capital, and they hide the consistency clause. The schedule says fees are not a ratio of nominal balance. Believe the schedule.
