This is an educational illustration. It is not a breach decision from a trading platform, and it will not invent a trailing rule that the sources do not state.

This end-of-day trailing rule needs the last locked reference balance. Live equity was not used as a substitute.

Prefilled from EOD Trail 100k. The floor trails the prior end-of-day equity peak by 6% of the starting nominal balance. It does not follow the intraday high. Open profit that is not in the closing snapshot does not lift the floor until the next lock.
