Working note7 minHow a programme is built

An instant account skips the target. It does not skip the rules.

No profit target is not the same as no drawdown, no consistency cap, or capital you own.

Instant, direct, and no-evaluation are marketing names for a simulated account that does not ask you to hit a profit target first. The fee still buys a rulebook. On the FTMO Instant objectives captured on 19 October 2026 there is no profit target, and there is a 3% daily loss, a 10% intraday balance-based trailing maximum loss, and a best-day cap of 30% of total profit.

What people skip when they read ‘instant’

  • The floor can move while a trade is open, because the trail is intraday.
  • A single large day can breach consistency even though there was nothing to ‘pass’.
  • The page says the consistency rule continues after a reward withdrawal.
  • The size ladder and the fee were not on the objectives page, so this desk does not invent them.
