FTMO

1 Step is the challenge on file. Read the lines, then enter only if the firm’s own page still says the same thing.

What you are actually attempting

Turned from the percentages on the 10k listing. Confirm each figure on ftmo.com before you pay. The fee on the listing was USD 93 on that listing.

  • Profit you must book

    $1,000

10% of the 10k listing. Where two phases are printed, this is the first number only.

  • Room in one day

    $300

3% of 10k. If your normal stop is wider than this, this listing is the wrong size.

  • Total you can lose

    $1,000

10% of 10k. Past this, the attempt is over even if the target was close.

  • Your cut if you only just pass

    $900

Listed split 90%, applied to the target above. A firm still has to approve a payout. This is not cash you hold.

  1. 1. If your usual loss on a trade is larger than the daily room, pick a bigger size or a different firm.
  2. 2. Only pay a fee you can lose. Passing is not the likely case, and the fee is gone either way.
  3. 3. On the firm site, check country eligibility, whether the floor trails, and whether news or the weekend ends the account.
  4. 4. If the site’s target, daily line or maximum loss no longer matches this page, trust the site and tell us.

What is on file for this firm

FTMO has at least one challenge row captured from a public catalogue. The figures below are that listing, including any discount that was already applied. They are the shape of the product, not a checkout price and not a promise that the firm will take your country.

A watched FTMO record already quotes the firm’s own objectives page. Prefer that record. This row is only the cTrader catalogue sighting.

  • 1 Step, 10k: target 10%, daily 3%, max loss 10%, share 90%. Fee shown: USD 93 on that listing.

How a forex and CFD challenge is usually built

These programmes scale the rules off a nominal balance. A 10% target on 100,000 is 10,000 of closed profit inside the rules, not 10,000 paid to you. The daily line and the maximum loss are the two numbers that end the account.

The floor is the part people skip. A static floor stays where it was printed. A trailing floor rises when you make money, so a good morning can raise the line that stops you later. If the page does not say which, you do not know the product yet.

Weekend holding, news windows and trade copiers sit outside the candle. A green week can still be a failed challenge if one of those lines is crossed.

  • Write the target of this phase, not “the account”.
  • Write the daily loss as a number, and whether it includes floating loss.
  • Write whether the floor is static or trailing, and when it moves.
  • Write the weekend, news and copy-trading lines before you look at the fee.

How to enter without guessing

Pick the size you would actually trade, not the largest badge on the page. Size the position so a normal losing day does not spend the daily line. If you need two resets to afford the month, you are not buying an evaluation.

This firm also has a rule file on PropChallenger that quotes the firm’s own page. Read that file before the catalogue row. Where they disagree, the firm’s page wins, and the disagreement is the thing to resolve before you pay.

  • Confirm your country is allowed, in the firm’s text.
  • Add the fee, the reset and any monthly charge on separate lines.
  • Do not treat a star rating or a percent-off badge as a rule.
  • A pass is the next stage in the agreement, not a wire transfer.
